Greg Trzaskoma, Trustee
Greg Trzaskoma holds an MFA in acting from Wayne State University and a BFA in theatre from The University of Detroit. He is an adjunct professor of Theatre at the University of Detroit Mercy and Wayne State University. He has also taught theatre courses for Macomb Community College and Focus HOPE
Mr. Trzaskoma acts and directs at many of Detroit’s professional theatres and is a proud member of the Screen Actors’ Guild and Actors’ Equity. He has appeared in professional television commercials. In 2003, Mr. Trzaskoma directed the Hilberry production of The Comedy of Errors” that was awarded Best Comedy in the 2003 Wilde Awards at the Gem Theatre.
Greg has been especially successful providing community theater experience to children. He has directed in summer theater camps for children throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. He not only founded and is artistic director of the Warren Civic Theatre, he has recently begun Open Door Productions, an inclusive community theater opportunity for all ages. |
