Mary Doris-Smith, Treasurer
Mary Doris-Smith is a marketing professional. She has joined the Mullen agency as senior vice president, account director, with a key leadership role on the agency’s General Motors Cardmember Services account. Doris-Smith has extensive experience in the areas of Customer Relationship Management and One-to-One marketing for multiple automotive brands, including Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, Toyota, Lexus, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. She was most recently with Wunderman as part of the integrated marketing group of agencies known as Team Detroit, and was previously with BBDO. In addition to her deep automotive experience, Doris-Smith has also worked extensively in the passenger cruise-line category, including managing data-based communications for Princess Cruise Lines.
The arts have always been a part of her life. She has participated in drama and dance productions and has traveled with a choir throughout Eastern Europe. While a student at University of Michigan, Mrs. Smith was active in television production on campus. She graduated from the with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and completed her MBA at Michigan State University.
She enjoys golfing, traveling and volunteering her services to her two teenage daughters’ activities.
