In the summer of 2006, the Arts Academy moved from its old location in Warren to a new building in Fraser. The building had only a gymnasium "stage" to use as a performance space, so Myrtlewood funded an overhaul, to allow the space to operate as a real theater.

$70,000 later, the floor is sprung and extended, lights are rigged and wired, curtains are added and the surrounding space is painted black. Special thanks to parent volunteers for their hard work!
